Mission Connection is an extension of A Mission for Michael’s compassion-driven, evidence-based, clinical program. By embracing the telehealth platform, we are able to offer mental health support to adults struggling with primary mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Mission Connection allows for these individuals to connect with their clinical team when, where, and how it is most convenient.

We offer a variety of process groups as well as weekly individual therapy. Additionally we are able to offer medication management if that is needed. We provide the same level of care as we do at A Mission for Michael with our team of highly-trained clinicians developing custom treatment plans that cater to each client’s specific needs.

Mission Connection comes to you with a multidisciplinary team, offering daily group therapy with licensed therapists, weekly psychiatric care including medication management, and weekly individual therapy. Within individual therapy, a person centered treatment plan is created and implemented to specifically meet one’s needs as an individual. Group activities consist of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psycho-Educational groups, Solution Brief Focused Therapy, and other specific modalities that address one’s mental health symptoms.Â

What type of treatment is offered at Mission Connection?
Mission Connection offers multiple types of therapeutic interventions via telehealth, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cinema Therapy, Psycho-education Groups, Process Groups, among others.Â
Is Mission Connection covered by insurance?
Yes, Mission Connection is in-network with multiple major insurance providers and accepts most Preferred provider organization insurance plans.
How much does it cost?
Upon submitting the initial form an admissions representative will be in contact with you regarding finances.
Is Mission Connection right for me?
Yes! For many it is difficult to move into residential treatment. Receiving Mental Health support services virtually through Mission Connection is a great way to gain valuable skills to overcome challenges that you will face in your life all while giving you flexibility in your treatment.
How long is the program?
Our program is designed to be a minimum of 12 weeks, with the option to extend further as required. We take a person centered approach and individualize our care, so rest assured that your treatment plan will be something tailor made for you.
Is my information protected?
Mission Connection takes every precaution to protect your information. All of the electronic resources we use are HIPAA compliant and follow all federal and state guidelines.
Are the therapists licensed?
All of Mission Connection’s clinical staff are fully licensed in the state of California. Our staff includes Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT,) Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW,) and Licensed Clinical Psychologists (Psy.D.)
How will I communicate with my therapist?
Mission Connection combines psychiatric services, group sessions, and individual sessions to provide a full range of therapeutic experiences for you. All sessions are done through a HIPAA compliant custom portal powered by Zoom.
