Alumni Program & Support Network
Mission Connection invites all alumni to participate in our no-cost Alumni Program, specifically created to:
- Connect with your alumni peers and make new connections.
- Get continued support through your healing journey.
- Find resources specific to your mental health needs.
- Gain insight from leaders with lived experience.
By joining, you’ll continue to receive the same level of care and connection you experienced in treatment.
Alumni Program Offerings
The Alumni Program provides helpful resources for continued healing and opportunities for our clients to stay connected to their Mission Connection peers post-treatment. We do this by offering multiple ways to connect.
Confidential Alumni App
CaredFor is our proprietary downloadable app. It allows alumni to safely connect with their former outpatient treatment peers.
The app also gives them the option to post, celebrate milestones, join virtual group meetings, access resources and more.
Virtual Group Meetings
Accessible through the app, we offer weekly virtual meetings in a peer-support format, addressing topics or concerns that apply to our clients’ current needs and interests.
Regular Check-Ins
For the first six months after treatment, alumni will receive an optional monthly follow-up call from their coordinator to check-in on their progress and offer guidance for continued healing and growth.
Accessible Resources
Alumni have the option to explore suitable pathways for sustainable healing and continued support after outpatient treatment with Mission Connection.
Adult and Adolescent Alumni Group Meetings
We offer separate alumni programs to support both adults and teen alumni. Stay connected with your peers by attending weekly virtual group meetings.
Adult Virtual Meetings
Our Adult Alumni Program typically meets virtually three times a week. While the days and times are subject to change, an example schedule is as follows:
- Tuesdays at 10:00 AM EST: Participate in mindfulness, goal setting, gratitude, and other group exercises to help you in your healing journey.
- Wednesdays at 9:00 PM EST: Check in with your peers at the same time each week. Listen to the sharing of lived experiences from inspirational alumni family and Mission Connection or AMFM Healthcare team members.
- Sundays at 8:00 PM EST: For those who are finding joy in helping others or want to learn ways to get involved in making a positive difference in our communities!
Adolescent Virtual Meetings
Our Adolescent Alumni Program typically meets virtually once a week. While the day and time is subject to change, an example schedule is as follows:
- Wednesdays from 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Join other teen alumni to address topics or concerns that are relevant to your current needs and interests.
