Susan DeLapp

Having worked in the fields of mental health and substance use disorder for the last eighteen years as a counselor, therapist, and educator, the opportunity to work with the AMFM organization and team here in Washington was the gift I had been waiting for. Originally from San Diego, my own journey brought me to the Olympic Peninsula to be with family. As I pursued my career path, my desire was to “make a difference” in the lives of those who struggle with mental health and addiction, and to provide the essential tools needed to live adjusted full lives. My compassion and empathy for this particular field, and my own experience, provide me with the capacity and competence to do this work, to give back what was given; hope
