Hira Moten is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology; after working in the medical field, Hira discovered her love and passion for allowing individuals to heal within and focus on mental wellbeing. She graduated with her Masters in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Since then, Hira has gained extensive experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions has specialized training in helping clients navigate trauma, depression, eating disorders, anxiety, and relationship issues; by working in various treatment settings. As the Clinical Director at Mission Connection, Hira integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices such as CBT, DBT and EFT to foster healing within individuals and families. She believes in allowing clients to discover and utilize their strengths to achieve their goals. She is dedicated to providing a compassionate, open environment where clients feel safe to share and grow in an individual, group and family setting.
